Yoga ....creak and groan

this morning was Yoga X!! oh my!! My body is sore from the exercise this week and I could barely do plank. I struggled through about 45 minutes, though I did the basic poses, not all the moving through to get the poses....but I did something... I just keep thinking about Tony's statement - how do you feel when you work out and how do you feel when you don't work out...I'm stronger every day!!

Day 3 - P90x

I was going to wait until I got caught up on my intentions and day 1 and 2...and decided no time like the present to start. Today was shoulders and arms..nice to know I have some strength left. I shut off the negative self talk by repeating 3 lines - I am strong!! I am slender and cut!! I love my body!!

I am excited to be starting my 'fitness' program. I have been vegan and gluten free for 5 weeks now and am starting to feel more comfortable about what I am eating and cooking. Starting to plan some menus and branch out a bit. Have been going back and reading Tony Horton's Bring It!! which is full of wisdom!! Also following my girl, Melissa @ Karma Chow....

Day 1 - P90X

I liked it...it was focused on my shoulders, tris and bis....in sets; just like lifting in the gym except I was at home; just me and the tv. I can tell I got a good workout - arms have been a bit sore all day!!! diet sucked.

Starting Tomorrow - P90X

Tomorrow is the big day - I start my P90x program - my plan is to combine both exercise and diet. I have taking my before picture and done my measurements....wow....how (and maybe why) did I get this heavy??? My blood pressure is up, I move like an old person and I have almost no clothes that fit....wahwahwah...

time to take control and quite 'comforting' myself with food!!!
